Many people who are trying to lose weight complain that their weight comes off all the wrong places. Ideally they are looking to lose weight from the tummy, thighs or bottom, but if there is one place that they don’t want to lose weight it is the face. Unfortunately in most cases, this is the first place a weight loss diet seems to attack.
Women especially complain that when they lose weight from the face they look gaunt and it makes their wrinkles look even worse. The dreaded “Turkey Neck” look around the neck area which develops as women get older can also be a tell tale sign of a woman’s age.
So what can be done other than the full surgical facelift and the prospect of going under the Plastic Surgeons scalpel?.
Well, there is a procedure now available called a thread lift. If you are looking for a little nip and tuck without having to go under the knife, then a thread lift is a great way to get some good results and it does not pretend to give the same results as regular plastic surgery.
It is interesting to note that this procedure is being sought by those in their forties as a way of holding back the first signs of ageing when they would be turned away at the Plastic Surgeons office.
Getting a thread lift at your ideal target weight may be the best time to get a thread lift so before thinking about the thread lift, get to your target weight first. There would be little point in having a thread lift to go away and lose a considerable amount of weight afterwards. Doing so could result in you going back for more thread lift treatments !!
If you do lose a little more weight as time goes by, the great things about a thread lift is that you can always have more threads added, even single threads at a time if needed.
