The Cycle
This is a good exercise to build on your lower abs and rectus abs. As you lie down, keep your lower back to the floor. Your knees should be lifted to a forty-five degree angle, with your hands close to your head. Your legs should start cycling in motion, as if riding a bike. Bringing your left knee towards your body, touch your right elbow to it. Now bring the right knee up to the left elbow. You’ll feel pressure in your mid-section and fat will be burned. Daily do twenty reps for best results.
Exercising using the Captain’s Chair
A regular gym equipment piece called the Captains Chair, is used for this. With the back of your forearms against the arm rest, grip the handles of the chair. Next locate your feet on the step rests. Now lift your body up and feet off the steps using your forearms. Let your legs dangle as you hold your body up and keep your back straight against the chair. While you lift your knees up to your chest, exhale. Keep your knees up for a few counts, and then lower your knees again. Do this several times. You will feel tension in your stomach every time you lift your knees, and you’ll need to relax every time you let them down. When done properly, it can be very effective. Several reps of this daily will surely get you the 6-pack abs you want!
Other crunch exercises are available. To have trimmed and toned abs, these two exercises have been proven to be most the most effective. You will have a hard and fit abdomen when these two exercises are done.
